Site Supervisor

Remit and Responsibilities 

• Proven experience as a site supervisor or team leader 
• Supervision of the following activities: 
  • Replacement of a tank roof (new construction and cutting/welding operations) 
  • External and internal repairs to the tank 
  • Repair of ships and infrastructure in ports 

Work Experience 

Essential:

• At least 5 years' experience in the shipbuilding or oil sector

Skills and Knowledge

Essential: 

• Expertise in erecting/bracing/assembling sheet steel and structural steelwork 
• Good knowledge of safety standards and a driving force behind HSE initiatives 
• Natural leader in the technical field 
• Thorough, organised, able to anticipate and take responsibility 
• Strong in maintaining customer contact and good communicator 
• Lifting and handling skills 
• Able to communicate in English 

Requirement to travel

• Possibility of travel but position in Guipavas (location of the workshop/offices)
