Position Title: Stores and Goods In Receiver Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor based in Burnley
PURPOSE OF POSITION
- To process incoming deliveries for parts and materials and ensure that the associated paperwork and systems are applied in
accordance with the company’s procedures. - Assist with the supply of all demand to Project sites worldwide
- To carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by management.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Role specific responsibilities
Stock Control:
- Ensure all stock transactions are processed on the system in real time.
- Ensure all documents are filed and are readily available.
- Locate & Re-Locate goods as appropriate, both physically & in the system.
Stock Receipts:
- Ensuring that delivered goods are inspected, recorded and put into the correct store’s location, or elsewhere as
appropriate. Notify any discrepancies found.
Kitting / Issuing of Materials / Components:
- Processing stores requisitions for workshop and project demand.
Communication:
- Liaising with all other departments on stock-related issues where appropriate
- Providing information and reports for line managers as required.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assistance with mobilization of all CRC equipment and Dangerous Goods
- Liaising closely with supply chain
- Providing any other assistance that may be necessary to carry out above duties
- To attend training courses when necessary
- To be aware of the Health & Safety requirements, in accordance with guidelines as set out in the Health & Safety
manual. - Engage in a positive change in culture whilst supporting a program of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with CRCE policies and procedures
- To have a flexible approach to work and make positive recommendations to improve processes and systems.
- Maintain and Improve the Workshop / Office facilities.
- Have a passion for ‘World Class’ housekeeping standards.
- Ability to work unsupervised and to plan and prioritise workload when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Specific Education Required:
- GCSE Math’s/English
Work Experience Required:
- Experience of working within a stores/warehouse type environment – 1 years minimum
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Must have:
- FLT Counterbalance Experience (B1/B2) – non-negotiable you will need to operate an FLT in this role
- Literate/numerical
- Computer Literate: Essential: Microsoft Excel / Essential: SAP
- Good communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative or as a team player.

The role requires regular liaison with the Procurement, Workshop, PQT
Communication methods include:
- Verbal communication within the warehouse and workshop environments
- Email correspondence for documentation, transport coordination, and confirmation of requirements
- Microsoft Teams for meetings, updates, and cross-functional coordination

The role requires communication with delivery drivers and collection agents
