Responsible for:

The Quality Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, and efficiency within the operations of CRC Evans. This position requires a dynamic individual with a keen focus on improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the cost of poor quality, downtime and repair rates, and also includes support to the continued accreditation of ISO standards across the EMEAA region. 

Remit & Responsibilities: 

  1. Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) - Analysis and monitoring
  2. Downtime reduction – Actively work to analyse and reduce downtime using a range of measures, digital tools and initiatives.
  3. Safe Systems Support – Collaboration with internal functions to develop, enhance and improve equipment and process safety initiatives.
  4. Control of non-conformance reports – Support and analyse reported non conformances to ensure ownership assignment and effective close out.
  5. ISO accreditation – Support the Business System Leader in maintaining regional accreditation to the ISO standards.
  6. Internal Audit Support Function – Conduct and audit processes to identify potential gaps, record and analyse results to help identify opportunities for continual improvement.

Provide additional support to the QHSE function as a team member in support of the Regional QHSE Manager. 

Job Specific Education Required:

Essential:

  • Previous relevant experience in a Quality environment or role 
  • This position is ideal for a person with experience in a quality role looking to expand their knowledge of HSE.
  • Working knowledge and experience of ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001)

Desirable:

  • Related degrees / certification is advantageous
  • QHSE background and experience would be beneficial
  • Strong IT literacy with a working knowledge of SharePoint 

Work Experience Required:

Essential:

  • 5 years+ experience of working in Quality environments
  • Experience of working with, and knowledge of document control

Desirable:

  • Energy sector and experience of AS9100 preferred
  • Project driven environment experience preferred but not essential 

Skills & Knowledge Required:

Essential:

  • Strong IT literacy (MS Packages & SharePoint)
  • Proven and demonstrable track record in process improvements
  • Demonstratable experience in internal audit process
  • Root Cause Analysis & investigation knowledge (8d, Ishikawa, Gemba Kanri, 5 Whys)

Desirable:

  • HSE experience or education (NEBOSH or equivalent) 

Requirement to travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required within the EMEA region.
