Field Service Inspector

The Field Service Inspector should be able to lead the RMS2 crew and interpret the scanning data. 

Major Responsibilites

Role specific responsibilties

• Set-up the RMS2 scanner needed for particular equipment 
• Calibration of RMS2 scanner head for X-Axis accuracy.
• Calibration RMS2 tractor (encoder) for Y- Axis accuracy.
• Calibration of sensitivity by using an IIW V1, V2, and Step wedge standard Blocks.
• Calibrating the equipment’s every 4 hours once and switch off and on.
• Ensuring the coordination of scans length and width based on Scope provided by the client.
• RMS2 Water motor controller need to checked before starts the scanning.
• Cross verify the readings with specimen datum point reading for comparison of sensitivity calibration
• Monitor data always once scan started.
• Save the scan data once the scanning completed routinely.
• Interpreting data for if any anomalies observed.
• Cross verifying the observation from AUT Scanning with manual UT
• Actively interact with client directly

Requirements

Job Specific Educaiton Required 

•  Level 2 NDE Qualifications preferred

Work Experience Required

• 5 years experience in relevant methods of NDE

Skills and Knowledge Required

• General NDE Inspection skills and experience

The requirement to travel % of time: 1.5 hour per day
