Welder

Due to exiting upcoming Projects, we are looking for experienced Welders to work on various Projects within the UK.

Role specific responsibilities

• Prioritise and organise own day to day work
• To oversee the instruction of helpers and to ensure that they are adequately informed and familiar with their assignment
• To ensure materials and equipment are operated in the correct manner
• To execute the training and qualification programs in accordance with the approved proposed welding procedure specifications
• To reject any weld bevel, preparation or weld that does not meet specification

Skills and Experience

• Considerable experience as a welder on multiple work sites
• Extensive manual welding capabilities in all processes
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and attention to detail
• Responsible for welding, gouging and flame cutting activities and a clean work area after completion of the work
• Automatic Welding Experience is preferred
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• City and Guilds/NVQ in welding
• 6G tig/Fluxcore -9606-1 & 6G stick-9606-1 codings are desirable however, Welder testing is possible if necessary
