IT Service Delivery Manager based in Burnley or Edinburgh

 

Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and coordinating the delivery of IT services to ensure they meet the needs of our business. You will oversee a variety of IT services such as network systems, software applications, among others. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, user technology, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the delivery of IT services to ensure they meet the needs and expectations of the business. 

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions. 

  • Develop service delivery standards and processes, and ensure they are adhered to. 

  • Monitor and report on the performance of IT services, and take action to correct any deviations from service standards. 

  • Oversee the resolution of customer complaints and issues relating to IT services. 

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the delivery of IT services, and implement changes as needed. 

  • Provide 3rd line support for the technicians.  

  • Manage and maintain stock. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience as an IT Service Delivery Manager or in a similar role. 

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and service management principles. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 

  • Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is preferred. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

Skills: 

  • Expertise in the design and development of IT systems. 

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team. 

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 

Technical ability: 

  • Experience in maintaining ITSM tools 

  • Experience with windows 10/11 troubleshooting 

  • Experience with network troubleshooting 

  • Experience with print troubleshooting 

  • Experience with Azure troubleshooting 

  • Experience with the M365 suite 

  • Experience imaging and maintaining device images.  

  • Experience with MDM and ABM
