IT Infrastructure Engineer

IT Infrastucture Engineer based in Burnley or Edinburgh

Key Responsibilities 

• 3rd Line Duties: 

• Review and manage Azure environment costs 

• Deploy new Azure server, disk and networking 

• Deploy change to Defender 

• Deploy change Intune 

• Deploy change to Entra 

• Deploy change to Exchange 

• Segregate/integrate other Domains/Entra/Exchange 

• PowerShell script creation 

• 2nd Line Duties 

• Tickets from first line that require an on site action 

• Monitor/update Azure server and network to make sure they are operating consistently 

• Manage Defender 

• Manage Intune 

• Manage Barracuda 

• Manage Entra 

• Manage Exchange 

• 1st Line Duties 

• On site Presence at Burnley  (or Edinburgh)

• Manage Local Stock 

• Onboard/setup new starts 

• Other Duties 

• Working with the wider team in the US around global azure technology 

• Working with the day-to-day operations of the IT Team 

• Ensure all IT assets are correctly assign within the asset management system.  

• Familiar with and adherence to all CRCE/Site QHSE project related procedures 

• Carry out duties safely and efficiently in line with the Company QHSE policies and report any unsafe conditions or incidents in the workplace, including damaged equipment or facilities. 

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally 4+ years experience in the following 

• 3rd Line Troubleshooting 

• Azure Server Management 

• Azure Network Management 

• Azure Costing Management 

• Entra Management 

• Intune Management 

• Exchange Management 

• On Site Networking  

• Virtual Server Management 

• Entra/Exchange Migration 

• PowerShell script creation
