Join Our Team as a Welding Technician at CRC Evans

Due to winning new global projects we're seeking dedicated Welding Technicians to play a key role in delivering high quality, reliable projects globally. As part of our team, you'll support senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing welding equipment, ensuring everything meets our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing welding power supplies, automated equipment, and internal welding machines.
• Collaborate on qualifying welding procedures for field deployment, ensuring equipment meets client specifications.
• Coordinate equipment packing and documentation for logistics, ensuring smooth operations.
• Conduct welding equipment calibration and validation to maintain operational excellence.
• Monitor and report spare parts and consumable usage, ensuring timely replacements and efficient resource management.

Required Qualifications:

• City & Guilds/SVQ Qualification or equivalent.
• Completion of Recognised Apprenticeship (Mechanical/Electrical) preferred.

Experience:

• Experience of working on projects internationally is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work effectively with diverse international crews.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of QHSE
• Proficiency in maintenance and refurbishment of automatic pipeline equipment is preferred but not essential
• Technical expertise in production equipment and associated specifications.
• Electrical appreciation and mechanical/electronic equipment maintenance skills.
