What You’ll Do

In this high-impact role, you will:

Support welding activities across tendering, execution, and R&D
Review technical specs and drive cost, quality, and schedule performance
Develop and manage WPSs, WPQT/WQT programmes and documentation
Select optimal welding equipment and consumables
Provide technical guidance across multiple departments
Coordinate welder training, qualifications, and performance
Work closely with clients, inspectors, and third‑party vendors
Support site welding activities and mobilisations
Maintain strict compliance with QHSE standards
Ensure documentation accuracy, traceability, and project alignment

You’ll be central to delivering safe, efficient, and industry-leading results.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a strong mix of experience, insight, and drive:

  • Bachelor's degree in welding or materials engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • EWE/IWE diploma or working towards certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Welding Engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline welding processes and inspection
  • Experience with mechanised welding procedure qualifications
  • Strong understanding of welding equipment, consumables, and techniques
  • Great communication, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset

 Travel Requirements

Approximately 30% travel, supporting both onshore and offshore activities.
