Remit & Responsibilities:
- Equipment and Application Support: Assist in the evaluation and development of recommendations for equipment and application improvements, gaining experience in operational enhancements
- Quality and Usage Monitoring: Support the monitoring of welding and pre-heating gas quality and usage on the project, reporting any discrepancies to senior staff.
- Equipment Packing Coordination: Work alongside Technician and Senior Technicians to assist in the packing and documentation for equipment returns, ensuring all necessary paperwork is prepared for CRC-Evans logistics.
- Calibration and Validation Assistance: Aid in the calibration and validation processes for welding equipment when required, ensuring the proper documentation is produced to certify equipment readiness for the project's duration.
- Spare Parts and Consumable Reporting: Assist in monitoring and updating reports on spare parts and consumable usage, requesting required materials in a timely manner and reporting any increases in consumption to the relevant managers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Experience in mechanical, electrical, or automotive fields (e.g., agricultural mechanical roles, car mechanics, electricians).
- Desirable: Recent college leaver with an apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.
- Qualifications: Recognised qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical.
