Reporting to Head of Global Procurement - based at Kintore or Burnley
Procurement Manager – Indirect will lead end-to-end procurement of goods and services associated
with CRCE’s business support functions including Group, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Facilities, Travel,
Office Supplies, and other non-direct operations transactions. Act as the CRCE escalation point for
indirect spend, support the interface to AP/Finance, support global process alignment, lead the indirect
procurement workstream for the IFS ERP transition, and drive strategic indirect supplier engagement
to improve service, relationships and commercial terms.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. STANDARDISE GLOBAL PROCUREMENT PROCESSES
Partner with the Head of Global Procurement to standard and implement procurement
processes and documentation across regions, creating a single, consistent way of working.
Publish clear SOPs and practical guidance (with named owners and audit schedule) so every
site follows the same steps and definitions.
2. ERP TRANSITION
Confirm current ways of working, identify best practice, and translate these into future SOPs
and user guidance to support successful IFS integration. Coordinate between IFS Integrator and
Procurement Team to ensure user readiness.
3. STAKEHOLDER INTERFACE
Partner with the Head of Global Procurement to support the interface to AP/Finance, aligning
payment runs, and ensuring timely visibility of holds and releases.
Serve as the primary escalation point for Indirect procurement, protecting business function
plans by coordinating swift, cross-functional action with Group, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing,
Facilities. Etc.
4. INDIRECT PROCUREMENT
Own the end-to-end procurement for indirect spend. Ensuring on time, right-first-time supply
across CRCE. Build strategic engagement with indirect vendors agreeing service levels,
negotiating commercial terms and driving corrective actions on quality and delivery. Oversee
buyer execution to ensure clean POs with accurate references, realistic need dates and rapid
confirmations. Manage escalations and risk mitigations between suppliers and business
functions.
5. DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE
Lead a high-performing team of up to four by setting clear objectives, and giving timely, practical feedback
that builds autonomy and right-first-time execution.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
Minimum of 5 GCSE (including Mathematics and English Language).
Desirable:
Professional Certifications (Preferred): CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CPSM (Certified
Professional in Supply Management), PMP (Project Management Professional) or MSC in Supply Chain & logistics
Work Experience Required:
Essential :
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in supply chain or logistics roles, preferably within the oil and gas
industry.
• Must-Have: Extensive experience in using ERP systems, SAP, IFS. This includes proficiency in modules
related to procurement, supply chain management, and financial reporting within ERP.
• Advanced Excel and Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel, Power BI) to
analyze procurement data and support decision-making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with internal and external
stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
